International Student Health Insurance
Review TTUHSC health, evacuation and repatriation insurance requirements, coverage information and waiver eligibility for F-1 international students.
All students must obtain and maintain health insurance coverage that is Affordable Care Act (ACA) compliant while enrolled at the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center (TTUHSC), except those enrolled in a 100% distance program. Per OP 77.19
TTUHSC requires all non-immigrant F-1 students to maintain health, evacuation and repatriation insurance in accordance with TTUHSC OP 77.03. F-1 students must enroll in the university-sponsored insurance plan unless they qualify for a waiver through a U.S. employer-sponsored plan provided by their employer, parent or spouse.
