For those attending in-person, the activity will be held at Amarillo College West Campus Lecture Hall; 6222 W. 9th Avenue, Amarillo, Texas. Please be sure to bring a sweater for your personal comfort in the lecture hall.

Conference Summary
This symposium will provide updates and information on Geriatric Oncology during a pandemic and ethical challenges for COVID and vaccinations. This symposium targets health care professionals involved in geriatric cancer care, which includes physicians, residents, nurse practitioners, registered nurses, internists, medical students, social workers and other health care providers.
The learning objectives of this conference are:
- Describe the concepts of geriatric oncology issues in this global pandemic
- Discuss the use of geriatric assessment and screenings in older cancer patients
- Identify the needs of geriatric cancer patients
- Determine the stressors and response to the stressors of the global pandemic
- Identify the ethical challenges of COVID
- Discuss the ethics involving Vaccine Mandates
