Applicants who are not citizens or permanent residents of the U.S. should review the following requirements carefully in order to apply for the PharmD program. If you are a permanent resident of the United States or possess a type of visa that allows you to domicile and attend our institution you should be eligible for our program. International students who are in need of an I-20 are not eligible for our hybrid option, the Pioneer Pathway, but can choose from our four in-person campus locations in Abilene (P1-P4), Amarillo (P1-P4), Dallas (P1-P4), and Lubbock (P3-P4). International Application Process

STEP 1: Apply through PharmCAS application.
STEP 2: Submit transcripts from all United States (U.S.) colleges and universities attended to PharmCAS. Applicants that have taken any cours outside the U.S. must have a U.S. equivalent course by course foreign evaluation foreign transcript evaluation from a foreign transcript evaluation agency. Our school will review these documents to ensure you have the required prerequisites to be eligible for our PharmD program. PharmCAS will only accept WES Evaluations. If you completed a U.S. equivalent course by course foreign evaluation from a different evaluation company, please have them sent directly to our school. Please contact sopadmissions@ttuhsc.edu for the address information.
STEP 3: Submit your completed PharmCAS application and you will receive a link to setup your supplemental application once your PharmCAS app is verified.
STEP 4: Submit the *required financial documents listed below to the TTUHSC registrar
- Official Bank Statement
- Financial/Bank Statement (International applicants must provide proof of financial support as part of their application materials. Proof of funding needs to either show the applicant can support themselves (Submit Bank Statement) or that the applicant has a sponsor (Sponsor’s Bank Statement and a Financial Statement from their sponsor).
- Passport bio page (page with personal data)
- Proof of English Proficiency (If applicable)
STEP 5: Once the supplemental application is complete, an advisor will review your application to ensure all prerequisites are complete or will be completed prior to the start of classes.
STEP 6: If prerequisites are complete or on track to be completed prior to the start of classes, your application will be evaluated for a possible interview.
STEP 7: Complete your interview.
STEP 8: Await decision.
STEP 9: If you are offered admission, you will receive an offer letter with next steps posted!
Application Information:
In addition to the PharmCAS application that all students must complete for admission, international students will be required to submit additional documents in order to complete their application. This can include English proficiency test scores, a copy of your passport, bank statements, and other requested items by our TTUHSC International Student Services office. Our prerequisites must be completed in order to be eligible for admission into our PharmD program.
English Proficiency
International applicants must demonstrate adequate proficiency in the English language before they can be considered for admission.
United States Equivalent Course by Course Foreign Transcript Evaluation:
Applicants that have taken any courses outside the United States (U.S.) *must* have a U.S. equivalent course by course foreign transcript evaluation from a foreign transcript evaluation agency. We do not mandate evaluations to come from a certain company; however, they must be a U.S. equivalent course by course evaluation. Foreign transcript evaluations must be official, coming to us directly from the evaluation agency. If multiple Institutions outside the U.S. have been attended, the evaluation must include all institutions attended. This is an admissions requirement and needs to be submitted to us by the application deadline.
