EPA Thinking Course Modules

Each module below corresponds to one of the thirteen EPAs with an additional module that addresses a residency application strategy.  The mentor supplement contains prompts that are aimed at facilitating a wide variety of mentors who may have differing levels of comfort in leading a discussion on something they are not completely familiar with themselves.  There is no risk in having students discover and share the supplementary modules because the issue is not about a correct answer.  If students use the content of the mentor supplement as a shortcut for preparation, they will find that they still will be challenged to clarify their answers and defend them.  In fact, the motivation of students to discuss their thinking outside of class with each other would be an exciting, ideal outcome!
