Nephrology Fellows

The Nephrology fellowship program at Texas Tech University’s Lubbock campus really is unique. The best part of training here was autonomy. As I became more comfortable with handling complex renal cases, I was able to care for patients in a manner that felt most like supervised practice. Yet I knew I had supportive and knowledgeable faculty with years of experience within arm’s reach. The support staff at TTUHSC, UMC, and the dialysis center really are top notch, they are eager to work with you as well as educate you. Call schedule is very manageable. I saw a wide range of pathology because it’s a large teaching institution as well as a tertiary care referral center. I really do consider this a wonderful place to train as well as live.
