Program Overview

The Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) with a focus in nursing education is designed for the BSN entry-level student who desires a career in nursing education. Students complete the track via on-line courses and practicum experiences.

Students who complete the MSN degree in nursing education are able to develop, implement, and evaluate curriculum; use technology to strengthen the learning process; and incorporate evidence-based teaching strategies to influence the preparation of today's nursing graduate.

Upon completion of the education track, graduates are prepared for educational positions in academic and practice settings.
