The Graduate Program in Pharmaceutical Sciences (GPPS) is a diverse science program
which trains students for highly desirable and lucrative careers in:

Our comprehensive education utilizes diversity and practical experience in a variety
of learning environments.
Ph.D. students may choose to do doctoral research in:
- Neurodegenerative Diseases
- Medicinal Chemistry
- Brain Drug Delivery
- Cancer Therapy
- Research/Teaching Assistantships
- Receive a yearly stipend of $26,500
- Partial (80-90%) tuition waivers.

Research growth at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center requires access to
and support of appropriate cutting-edge core equipment that is at the driving edge
of research. Additionally, students work in the labs of faculty in Pharmaceutical
Sciences, Immunotherapeutics and Biotechnology.
