How We Work
As a university and medical practice, we offer a vast array of services and benefit to a wide range of audiences. Marketing strategies often include integrated efforts to increase awareness of specific offerings and initiatives, provide education around them and increase lead generation.
For programs and services that currently serve or have the potential to offer services to patients, communities, and stakeholders, marketing can provide plans and suggested solutions to promote growth and business development.
TTUHSC Communications and Marketing contracts with third-party research firms to conduct qualitative and quantitative market research studies on behalf of the university and medical practice.
External Relations maintains working relationships with our partner hospitals to coordinate physician and provider outreach and can assist in providing supporting collateral.
Brand Strategy
The brand guidelines for Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center and Texas Tech Physicians convey a consistent look, feel and tone that evoke recognition and response when our name is mentioned. We strive to implement the brand guidelines in all marketing materials and help faculty, staff and students around the university do the same. By stewarding the integrity of our brand, we can shape the way students, faculty, staff, alumni, community members, partners and stakeholders connect with us.

TTUHSC partners with a number of institutions, including hospitals, to fulfill our mission and expand our ability to provide critical services to our communities and state. When the opportunity or need arises to promote our partnerships, Marketing works closely with our partners to provide brand compliant artwork and guidelines.
To remain brand and licensing compliant, marketing requests approval on communications, promotional items and media that include the TTUHSC name and logos. Most approvals are provided in the TechBuy purchasing system. For approval or logo-related questions or approvals made with a p-card or personal purchases, please email brandapprovals@ttuhsc.edu.
