The TTUHSC School of Health Professions Bachelor of Science in Speech, Language and Hearing Sciences - Second Degree (SLHS) is one-year program (fall, spring, summer) for students who have previously earned a bachelor’s degree and completed prerequisite coursework. The program is for those who now wish to pursue a degree for entry-level work or graduate studies in the field of speech, language and hearing sciences (e.g., speech-language pathology, audiology).

Curriculum

Combines academic instruction, as well as clinical observation and experience opportunities designed to provide you with a comprehensive foundation in the sciences of speech, language and hearing.

1 Year
 3 Semesters

  • Anatomy & Physiology
  • Phonetics
  • Neural Bases of Speech & Language Disorders
  • Hearing Science
  • Articulation & Phonological Disorders
