Together We Can Change Everything

The Doctor of Physical Therapy Program at TTUHSC in Amarillo has trained nearly 200 students since 1994, many of whom have stayed in the Panhandle area to practice. The following memorial scholarships have helped support many dedicated students on the TTUHSC Amarillo campus. With your contributions, we can enhance these scholarships to help mitigate the ever-expanding financial burden facing our students.

Bonnie Whittington Memorial Scholarship

Bonnie Whittington was a well-known, loved and respected PT in Amarillo. She was also a Rotary Club Member in Canyon, TX, where she worked for almost 30 years as an employee of the TEXAS Outdoor Musical.

Richard G. Balke Memorial Scholarship

Many will remember Mr. Balke for his involvement with the Children’s Rehabilitation Center of Amarillo, now known as the Turn Center.

Karen Ann Baker Memorial Scholarship
