Amarillo Biomedical Research Internships

TTUHSC Offers Research Opportunities for Undergraduate Students
If you enjoy discovery, want to explore science as a career option and are interested in cancer or stroke research, please consider joining the 10-week summer internship at the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center (TTUHSC) Jerry H. Hodge School of Pharmacy. We offer the opportunity to work with nationally and internationally recognized researchers dedicated to discovering new treatments for cancer and stroke.
Interns will receive hands-on training in bench-level laboratory research, under the direct mentorship of a faculty member of the TTUHSC Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences. Successful candidates will later be eligible to apply for a research assistantship in our Ph.D. program.
Internships begin in late May and continue until early August. Interns will receive a stipend of $3800, disbursed as two payments. Candidates must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents and enrolled in a four-year college.
