Alaina Diane Van Dyke

Assistant Professor

Dr. Van Dyke is an Assistant Professor in the Ambulatory Care Division of the Pharmacy Practice Department at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center (TTUHSC) School of Pharmacy. She received her joint Doctor of Pharmacy and Master of Business Administration degrees from Samford University McWhorter School of Pharmacy in 2019. She then completed a PGY1 Pharmacy Practice Residency at DCH Regional Medical Center in Tuscaloosa, Alabama and a PGY2 Ambulatory Care Residency at the North Texas VA Healthcare System/Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in 2020 and 2021 respectively. Dr. Van Dyke is also board certified as an Ambulatory Care Pharmacist and a Lifestyle Medicine Professional. Dr. Van Dyke's practice site is at the Fort Worth Outpatient Clinic with the VA North Texas Health Care System (VANTHCS) where she primarily provides drug therapy management in the areas of diabetes, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, and coronary artery disease, and tobacco cessation. Dr. Van Dyke is passionate about health and wellness and enjoys practicing lifestyle medicine to prevent and treat chronic disease in her patients. Dr. Van Dyke also precepts 3rd and 4th year pharmacy students.
