I have been a registered nurse since 1980, working in direct care and administration in community mental health since that time. I have 25 years of undergraduate and graduate teaching experience in psychiatry/mental health, community health, and leadership/management. I am certified by the American Nurses Credentialling Center as a Psychiatric/Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) and by the National League for Nursing as a Certified Nurse Educator (CNE).
