Brian Dean Schroeder

Doctor Brian D. Schroeder has been a practicing Internal Medicine Hospitalist & Palliative Care physician since 1999 and has been a senior physician executive for more than a decade. He currently serves as the Interim Regional Dean for the Odessa Campus of the School of Medicine, the Assistant Dean of Faculty Development & Recruitment, and Associate Professor of Internal Medicine in the School of Medicine at the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in Lubbock, TX.

Dr. Schroeder is a Fellow of the American Association for Physician Leadership, a Fellow of the American College of Physicians, and Senior Fellow of Hospital Medicine. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine and a Certified Physician Executive. He’s held clinical faculty appointments at Texas Tech University School of Medicine, Lubbock, TX; Michigan State University College of Human Medicine, Lansing, MI; Central Michigan University College of Medicine, Mount Pleasant, MI; and Wright State University School of Medicine in Dayton, OH.

Dr. Schroeder is a retired Air Force Flight Surgeon and Internist with the US Air Force Reserve, having held the rank of Colonel. Each week he holds an Aviation Medicine clinic for pilots as an Aviation Medical Examiner for the Federal Aviation Administration.
