I am the 4th born of 8 siblings. Married with 2 sons. I was born in Ghana where my extended family live. Nursing has been my passion since childhood, and so when I graduated from high school in 1998, I did not hesitate to apply to go to nursing school. I graduated from the University of Ghana School of Nursing in 2004 with a bachelor's degree in nursing with psychology and practiced as medical/surgical nurse. In 2008 I was hired as a nursing tutor at Garden City University College, Ghana where I taught Medical/Surgical Nursing, Psychology, and Accident, Emergency and Disaster Management. In 2011, I graduated from the University of Ghana with Master of Philosophy degree in nursing, specializing in teaching and research. I have practiced as a pediatric nurse with Epic Home Health Services, Forth Worth TX for 2 years, between 2013 and 2014, and Instructor at Hill College, Hillsboro TX between 2014 and 2015. My hobbies are reading, playing and watching soccer.
