Deb Ann Notturno- Strong

Associate Professor

Drr Strong is an Associate Professor for Pharmacy Practice on the Abilene Campus. She earned her BS in Pharmacy from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy, her Masters in General Administration from Central Michigan University and Masters’ degrees in Pharmacy Administration and Health Policy from University of the Sciences in Philadelphia. She completed her doctorate at Massachusetts College Pharmacy and Health Sciences in 2020, presenting her dissertation research on "Defining Professionalism". Originally from Ashland, Massachusetts, Professor Strong retired in 2011 from the United States Air Force after 24 years of service. Prior to retirement, she served as the Commander, 7th Medical Support Squadron and Deputy Commander, 7th Medical Group, Dyess AFB, Texas. Her military career included an assignment to Wilford Hall Medical Center, Lackland AFB, TX where she directed the only bone marrow transplant pharmacy in the Department of Defense. She later served as Director, Pharmacy Operations and was responsible for the USAF Medical Systems largest and most complex pharmacy operation. During her career she also served at Westover AFB, Chicopee, MA; Nellis Air Force Base, Las Vegas, NV; Defense Personnel Support Center – Philadelphia, PA; and MacDill Air Force Base, Tampa, FL. Prior to her military service, she worked as a Pharmaceutical Sales Representative for Eli Lilly as well as Pharmacist In Charge for CVS Pharmacies.
