Dr. Hafiz Khan is a tenured full professor in the Department of Public Health at the School of Population and Public Health, Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center. He has nearly 30 years of experience in higher education, serving as a lead biostatistician at Texas Tech University, Florida International University, Rutgers University, New Jersey Institute of Technology, Western Michigan University, the University of Western Ontario, Chittagong University, and Chittagong Cantonment Public College. He has contributed extensively as the sole author, lead author, and co-author of more than 135 peer-reviewed scientific publications in statistics, biostatistics, public health, and biomedical sciences, as well as over 160 peer-reviewed abstracts in conference proceedings. He has presented more than 150 research papers within the biostatistics and biomedical research communities. As a biostatistical methodologist, he has mentored over 500 graduate students on their research projects, theses, and dissertations. He serves as the Chief Biostatistics Advisor at the NSF Cloud and Autonomic Computing Center and the University Cooperative Research Center in the USA, which includes Texas Tech University, the University of Arizona, and Mississippi State University. He has contributed to numerous funded research projects and is currently working on one CPRIT and two NIH-funded research projects. He is a member of several professional associations, including the American Statistical Association, the American Public Health Association, and the Royal Statistical Society. Dr. Khan also serves on the editorial boards of several peer-reviewed health-related journals and is an Associate Editor for the Journal of Alzheimer's Disease, Computational Statistics, and Statistical Papers.
