Hello, my name is Kendarius Talton, DNP, APRN, AGACNP-BC. I am an assistant professor with more than a decade of experience in critical care. I currently reside in Dallas, Texas. I earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Louisiana at Monroe and began my career as a cardiovascular intensive care nurse in 2014. Building on this foundation, I completed a Master of Science in Nursing at Vanderbilt University in the Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Intensivist Program.
Since becoming board-certified, I have practiced as a critical care nurse practitioner across diverse settings, including medical, surgical, cardiovascular, and neuroscience specialties. In 2024, I earned a Doctor of Nursing Practice from Chatham University and expanded my professional contributions to academia, where I now combine my clinical expertise with a commitment to educating the next generation of nurse practitioners.
