Kimber Cockerell DNP, RN, CPN, CNEcl is an Associate Professor and Clinical Site Coordinator for the Accelerated BSN Program at the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center (TTUHSC). She has clinical experience in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit and Oncology Outpatient Services. As a Clinical Site Coordinator, Dr. Cockerell is responsible for the organization and oversight of all clinical experiences for students on the Lubbock campus, including creating partnerships with the hospital organizations in the Lubbock area. Dr. Cockerell has a passion is facilitating a successful transition for newly licensed nurses and strengthening the partnership between academia and practice.
