Dr. Haase is Professor of Pharmacy Practice and Regional Dean of the Amarillo Campus at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center Jerry H. Hodge School of Pharmacy. She received her Pharm.D. degree from The University of Texas College of Pharmacy and completed a two-year pharmacotherapy residency at the Medical University of South Carolina. Dr. Haase is a board-certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist with over 25 years of practice experience as a critical care pharmacist. She served as Head of the Division of Adult Medicine for nine years, developed and directed the two-year Pharmacotherapy residency and served as Vice-Chair for Residency Programs at Texas Tech. She teaches in the areas of critical care and cardiology and has precepted more than 340 student and resident learners. She is a member of the Center for Real-World Evidence. Her research focus is on optimizing medication therapy through expansion of pharmacist practice roles, care of patients in underserved areas, and implementation science.
