Laszlo Nagy

Laszlo Nagy is an Associate Professor for Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center and a pediatric neurosurgeon at Covenant Health System and University Medical Center. He is currently employed by Texas Tech Physicians. Dr. Nagy brings a record of extensive knowledge and leadership to the West Texas and Eastern New Mexico region. He specializes in hydrocephalus, neurosurgical trauma, craniosynostosis and pain syndromes. He was born in Budapest, Hungary and received his MD from Semmelweis University in 1994. His clinical fellowship took place at Children’s Medical Center Southwest at the University of Texas at Dallas, but he has neurological and neurosurgery training from London, England, Helsinki Finland ,Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and New York. He is fluent in Hungarian, English and German. Dr. Nagy started semiprofessional opera singing in 2011 and is renowned for his dramatic style of singing, with heavy production and sizable overtones. He has performed in several venues in Lubbock including several charity events and is working on CD productions every year.
