Levi Campbell, Pharm.D., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pharmacy Practice at the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center (TTUHSC) Jerry H. Hodge School of Pharmacy. Dr. Campbell earned his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from TTUHSC and completed a postdoctoral pharmacy practice residency at the Veterans Affairs North Texas Health Care System in Dallas, Texas. Dr. Campbell is an award-winning educator who has received two Preceptor of the Year awards in recognition of his excellence in clinical teaching and mentorship, as well as a President’s Award in Team Teaching. His practice specialty is as a clinical pharmacist with TTUHSC Managed Care, where he provides comprehensive ambulatory care and drug information services to underserved populations in a medically complex, high-risk, resource-limited setting.
Dr. Campbell is an active contributor to maternal-infant pharmacology research through his work with the InfantRisk Center at TTUHSC, for which the center won the University Team Award. His scholarly contributions include study development, clinical data interpretation, and preparation of peer-reviewed manuscripts supporting evidence-based medication use during pregnancy and lactation. His clinical expertise in chronic disease management, cardiovascular and metabolic pharmacotherapy, and complex medication regimens strengthens the translational impact of maternal-infant health research, particularly in breastfeeding populations. His research interests include lactational pharmacovigilance, monoclonal antibody therapeutics, and substance misuse.
Through integrated roles in clinical practice, research, and education, Dr. Campbell advances interdisciplinary collaboration and strengthens the integration of clinical pharmacy expertise into ambulatory care, correctional health, and maternal-infant pharmacotherapy. His clinical insight, scholarly engagement, and educational leadership support TTUHSC’s mission to improve patient outcomes and provide evidence-based medication guidance to healthcare professionals and the populations they serve.
