Dr. Monica Mathys earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. After graduation, she completed a Geriatric Pharmacy Specialty Residency with the Central Arkansas Veterans Healthcare System. Since completing her residency, Dr. Mathys has worked in various areas of pharmacy including community, hospital, and clinical pharmacy. Currently, she is a faculty member with Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center Jerry H. Hodge School of Pharmacy where she also serves as Regional Director of Student Affairs & Admissions for the Dallas campus. Additionally, Dr. Mathys serves as a clinical pharmacist practitioner for the geriatric psychiatry team at VA North Texas Healthcare System.
