After practicing as a dietitian for several years, I entered medical school with the long-term goal of promoting public education regarding type 1 diabetes and other chronic pediatric endocrine diseases. I am also interested in developing educational programs to foster appreciation of the role of nutrition in disease prevention and therapy.
