Patricia Allen, Ed.D, RN, CNE, ANEF, FAAN is a Professor Emeriti of Nursing at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center (TTUHSC) in Lubbock, Texas. She was a full-time faculty member for 19 years. For the last 7 years, Dr. Allen has been a part-time faculty serving .49%. Patricia teaches in the graduate program. Previously, she served in the roles of Acting Dean, Associate Dean, and Acting Regional Dean. Her expertise includes curriculum development and evaluation. She has served as a curriculum consultant for nursing programs in Texas, Tennessee, Illinois, and California for undergraduate and graduate programs. Dr. Allen was the founding Director of the TTUHSC School of Nursing Center for Innovation in Nursing Education. Dr. Allen has numerous publications, grants, and national/ international presentations.
