Dr. Viney is the current Chair and Clerkship director for the Surgery Department for Texas Tech Physicians of the Permian Basin. Surgery core academic program is located at Medical Center Hospital and at Midland Memorial Hospital.
Dr. Viney is a General and Vascular Surgeon, specialties include Cardio-thoracic surgery, Colon and Rectal surgery, Minimally Invasive and Robotic surgery, Neurosurgery, and Urology.
Dr.Viney is a Texas Tech University of Medicine graduate. He completed his Residency in General and Vascular Surgery at Scott and White Memorial Hospital in Temple, Texas.
Dr. Viney is American Board Surgery Certified and is a member of the American Board of Surgery and Texas Medical Association.
