Dr. Koganti M.S., Ph.D. is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center (TTUHSC) School of Pharmacy. He joined the institution in January 2016. He obtained his Master of Science degree in Microbiology from Bangalore University, India and Ph.D. from TTUHSC-Amarillo in 2012 with an emphasis on 2-Methoxyestradiol mediated down-regulation of Angiotensin Type I Receptor(AT1R) in reducing hypertension. He completed in postdoctoral fellowship from the University of Iowa, Iowa City, Iowa, in the department of Internal medicine, cardiovascular division with an emphasis on exercise physiology. He was working as a senior research scientist at Grinnell College, Grinnell, Iowa before moving to TTUHSC. He is currently involved in teaching the following courses
