I have been a Registered Nurse since 2000. I received my Associated Degree Nursing in 1999. I worked as an Oncology Nurse for 8 years. I taught at a local community college for 5 years as a Vocational Nursing Program instructor. During that time, I completed by BSN in 2010. I went back to the hospital setting in 2011 as a clinical manager of a post surgical unit. I was there for 2 years. I decided that Education is where I belonged and began working at TTUHSC SON in Odessa, Texas in 2014. I went on to complete my MSN- Education at Western Governors University in 2018. I transitioned to the Faculty role shortly after receiving my MSN degree.
