Hello, I am currently an Assistant Professor with Texas Tech University Health Science Center within the Department of Pediatrics in Amarillo, Texas. As a Pediatric Intensivist, I have been providing care to children with critical care medical needs since the start of my fellowship in Pediatric Critical Care medicine in 2001. My personal interests include anything with a motor and four wheels but my career clinical interests include advanced ventilatory management and care for pediatric patients with acute traumatic brain injury. As a university based educator, I focus on a teaching style to promote self confidence in patient care delivery with methods to enhance retention and understanding in pathophysiology. I pride my practice of medicine with the moral and spiritual strength I promote within my own life and utilize for my patient's recovery.
