I was born and raised in Odessa, Tx. I attended the university of Texas Permian Basin where I received a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Chemistry. I went on to pursue medicine at TTUHSC in Lubbock and finished my clinical years at the Permian Basin Campus. I returned to Lubbock to complete my residency in pediatrics. After finishing residency I became a pediatric hospitalist where I helped launch the pediatric hospitalist program serving as one of the first full time hospitalist and then as medical director for the group. I then moved to TTUHSC - PB Odessa clinic to pursue outpatient medicine, it is here where I have truly found my niche. I am currently a full time General Pediatrician as well as Clerkship Director and Chair of the Department. I enjoy living in the Permian Basin and being able to give back to my Alma Mater and my community.
