Tammy Michelle Camp

Professor, Program Director - Pedi Residency

Dr. Camp has a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Abilene Christian University in Abilene, Texas. She received her degree in medicine from Texas Tech University School of Medicine in Lubbock, Texas. After completing a pediatric residency at the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in Lubbock, she stayed at Texas Tech where she is an Associate Professor of Pediatrics. In addition Dr. Camp serves as the Program Director for the Pediatric Residency Program. Her general pediatric practice involves the care of many children with special health care needs, and she assists in leading the general pediatrics division at Texas Tech Lubbock. She is active in medical education and is passionate about engaging residents and students in advocacy. She is married to Philip Camp, who is a music professor at Lubbock Christian University and they have two children, Landon and Lauren, both who are pursuing degrees in music.
