Post-Professional Doctor of Occupational Therapy: Curriculum

Curriculum

The Post-Professional-OTD program curriculum requires the completion of 27 semester credit hours for individuals with a Master’s degree in occupational therapy and 33 semester credit hours for individuals with a Bachelor’s degree in occupational therapy. The curriculum consists of a set of required core courses and a variety of elective courses. All students will complete the core curriculum courses. Students with a Bachelor’s degree in occupational therapy will take the 4 identified elective courses below and those with a Master’s degree in occupational therapy will take the 2 identified elective courses below. Courses are taught online and most courses are taught once per year to facilitate completion of the curriculum. Each student will work with the enrollment managmement to establish a degree plan upon admission to the program that is designed to meet graduation requirements by spring of 2028. All curricular degree requirements must be completed by spring of 2028.
