Amarillo Graduate Student Wins Photo Contest

A photo by Amarillo graduate student Hanumantha Rao Madala was recognized as a winning entry in a photo contest conducted by Vector Laboratories, a company that manufactures laboratory reagents for various laboratory applications. Madala’s photo depicts a sub-cellular co-localization of disulfiram nanoparticles in lysosomes. The photo has also been transferred onto canvas and is displayed in the Amarillo Research Building. Madala is working toward his Ph.D. as a research assistant for the Department of Biomedical Sciences in the lab of Kalkunte S. Srivenugopal, Ph.D.
