El Paso doing its homework on higher ed - El Paso Inc.

The Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board was in El Paso Wednesday for a town hall and roundtable.

That includes supporting El Paso Community College’s key role in graduating students who are ready to work or to continue education at a four-year institution; supporting the University of Texas at El Paso’s continued drive for more doctoral programs and toward Tier-One excellence; and supporting the push to allow Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in El Paso to become an accredited health sciences university, the fourth in the Texas Tech system.
