Former First Lady Mrs. Laura Bush to Visit San Angelo
WHAT: Former first lady Mrs. Laura Bush will visit San Angelo for a private luncheon supporting the Laura W. Bush Institute for Women’s Health (LWBIWH).
WHEN: 8:30 a.m. Thursday (April 11)
Video cameras must be in place by 8:30 a.m. to be checked by security at 9:30 a.m. Media must have press credentials and will stay until the end of Mrs. Bush’s remarks.
WHERE: C.J. Davidson Conference Center at Angelo State University, 500 Rio Concho Drive
Media must enter through main entrance on the south side of the building. LWBIWH representatives will be present to direct media.
EVENT: The event is to increase support for the LWBIWH and raise awareness for critical issues relating to women’s health.
Texas Tech University System Chancellor Kent Hance, Linda Ross, DNP, R.N., M.S., regional director of the LWBIWH at San Angelo, Angelo State University President Brian J. May, Ph.D., and Mrs. Bush will make remarks at the luncheon. Mrs. Bush will not be available for one-on-one interviews.
