Golfers Raise Money for Camp Alphie
Local golfers support pediatric oncology patients.
Local golfers teed off June 4 to support pediatric oncology patients by playing in the second annual Camp Alphie golf tournament at the Palo Duro Creek Golf Complex in Canyon. TTUHSC Pediatric Oncology Nurse Brenda Chandler said the tournament raised more than $10,000 to help support the Camp Alphie summer camp in July at Ceta Canyon. Chandler said many of the TTUHSC pediatric oncology patients and their families will attend the camp.
