American State Bank played host to the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center School of Nursing Permian Basin for a scholarship reception in October. Students from the traditional registered nurse, RN to bachelor of science degree in nursing, second degree, BSN to master of science degree in nursing and the graduate programs, along with local faculty and staff, gathered in the bank lobby as the ASB Endowed Scholarship for Nursing scholarships were awarded for 2011.
