"It's scary because a woman who is 50 lbs. overweight has increased her risk of endometrial cancer 10 fold, and we know that in women, the links are obesity, high-blood pressure, diabetes. You can't change your family history, but you can certainly do things like exercise get a good weight management program, watch your blood pressure and sugar levels, and really commit to a healthy lifestyle," says OB/GYN, Sarah Hosford, who is with Texas Tech Physicians.
