Dr. Roger Smalligan, public health authority for Potter and Randall counties and chairman of internal medicine at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in Amarillo, said an infected person’s tears, saliva, semen, nasal and vaginal secretions, blood or anything else liquid that comes from the body would have the virus in it, but only if that person is actively symptomatic.
