Dr. Surendra Varma, associate dean of the Graduate Medical Education and Resident Affaris at the Texas Tech Health Sciences Center and a Ted Hartman endowed chair in medical education and vice chairman of pediatrics at SOM, was appointed to the board by ov. Rick Perry.
