New UTEP biomedical engineering program to target area health needs - Medical Center of the Americas

Through a new biomedical engineering graduate program, leaders at the University of Texas at El Paso are trying to enhance high-skilled biotechnology jobs that will target the region's health care needs.

The program would forge collaborations with the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center Paul L. Foster School of Medicine, where students in the program would take clinical rotations at the medical school and professors at both institutions would partner for research.
