Nurse-Family Partnership in Amarillo

WHAT: Nurse-Family Partnership (NFP) will announce the opening of its Amarillo office. The NFP is part of the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center (TTUHSC) School of Medicine at Amarillo.

WHEN: 3:30 p.m. Friday (May 3)

WHERE: TTUHSC Women’s Health and Research Building, 1400 Wallace Blvd.

EVENT: Led by Angela Huang, M.D., assistant professor of pediatrics, NFP is an evidence-based, community health program transforms the lives of vulnerable, first-time mothers. The goal of the program is to provide first-time moms with the care and support they need to have a healthy pregnancy, provide competent care for their children, and achieve a better life for themselves and their families.
