Nurse leaders discuss future of patient care at TONE conference - NURSE.com


The Texas Organization of Nurse Executives held its annual conference March 4 at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Dallas. The conference, titled "Charting the Future," focused on healthcare trends in technology and nursing research, cutting-edge issues and best practices. More than 200 attendees joined keynote speaker Rich Bluni, RN, Studer Group expert coach and author, and Beth Ulrich, RN, EdD, FACHE, FAAN, a nationally recognized nurse leader who has helped advance nursing through research.

Other featured speakers included Terry Jones, RN, PhD, University of Texas at Austin School of Nursing; Susan McBride, RN, PhD, Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center; Marybeth Mitchell, RN-BC, MSN, Texas Health Resources; and Mari Tietze, RN-BC, PhD, Texas Woman's University College of Nursing.
