Nursing Honor Society Celebrates 25 Years

WHAT: The Iota Mu chapter of the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center (TTUHSC) will celebrate its 25^th anniversary during its 2013 induction ceremony.

WHEN: 4-5 p.m., Sunday (May 19)

WHERE: TTUHSC Academic Classroom Building, 3601 4^th St., Room 100

EVENT: Teddy Langford Jones, Ph.D., R.N., C.S., School of Nursing founding dean and professor emerita, will be the keynote speaker.

Sigma Theta Tau International was founded in 1922 to support the learning, knowledge and professional development of nurses committed to making a difference in health worldwide. Sigma Theta Tau International has more than 130,000 active members. Membership is by invitation to baccalaureate and graduate nursing students who demonstrate excellence in scholarship and to nurse leaders exhibiting exceptional achievements in nursing.
