President Puts Staff to Task on Sex- and Gender-Based Medicine

President Tedd L. Mitchell, M.D., recently announced the appointment of a institutional-level, multidisciplinary President’s Sex- and Gender-Based Medicine Task Force comprised of faculty representing each school.

This group will work closely with the Sex- and Gender-Based Medicine Curriculum Program, the main purpose of which is the creation of sex- and gender-based educational materials and innovative educational models for use within TTUHSC and disseminated nationally.

This task force will also serve as a think tank for future initiatives in sex and gender-based medicine, including collaboration with experts at Texas Tech.
