A former Air Force officer recently retired from Dyess Air Force Base has been named regional dean of the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center School of Pharmacy in Abilene.

Debra Notturno-Strong will replace Dr. Jose Vega, an assistant professor of pharmacy practice, who will return to his teaching position after serving as interim dean since June, the university announced in a statement this week.
