Scholarships send grad students to vascular conference

Md. Sanaullah Sajib and Fatema Tuz Zahra, graduate students from the TTUHSC-Amarillo campus, used travel scholarships to attend the North American Vascular Biology Organization (NAVBO) Vasculata July 24-27 at the University of Illinois in Chicago.
Sajib and Zahra are graduate students in the School of Pharmacy’s Graduate Program in Pharmaceutical Sciences. Both work as research assistants for the Department of Biomedical Sciences in the laboratory of Constantinos Mikelis, Ph.D.
NAVBO seeks to promote the study of vascular biology, and provide a forum where members can disseminate and share knowledge related to vascular biology, helping to ensure the translation of knowledge from basic science to clinical practice.
