SCHOOL BELLS: ASU programs, students earning recognition - San Angelo Standard-Times

Angelo State University's nursing program has been awarded grants totaling $374,234 from the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board for increasing its enrollment of first-year nursing students.

Among the four health-related institutions receiving awards, the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center increased its first-year nursing enrollment from 232 to 314, and was awarded an additional $224,597 to bring its 2010-11 grant total to $490,597.
