Shokar and Nahleh: Testing, research programs help prevent cancer - El Paso Times

Two cancer prevention projects are giving El Pasoans more options to help fight cancer -- an insidious disease that kills men and women of all races and backgrounds.

The projects are sponsored by the Cancer Prevention Institute of Texas and Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center Paul L. Foster School of Medicine's departments of Internal Medicine and of Family and Community Medicine.
