Medical students annual charity gala & casino night a success
Lubbock City Lights

Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center (TTUHSC) School of Medicine first-year students hosted the 19th Annual Lubbock City Lights Charity Gala & Casino Night April 23. The Class of 2019’s 1920s-themed Speakeasy Soirée was a success with more than 450 in attendance and raising almost $50,000.

All proceeds from the 2016 event will be awarded to four local non-profits. This year’s charities included The TTUHSC Free Clinic, the Boys & Girls Club of Lubbock, High Point Village and the Children’s Advocacy Center of the South Plains.

More than $400,000 has been raised in the past 19 years through Lubbock City Lights.
